Humility does not = Weakness

If we are to grow in Christ we must let go of the idea that humility is the same as weakness. They are two vastly different things. Humility stays calm in the midst of false accusations. Humility is willing to do what no other wants to. Humility is loving unconditionally. And so much more. Weakness is doing something other than the right thing to protect or for one self. As Christians, we are fully equiped to be humble, the question is will we choose to do so? We are faced with tons of scenarios each day that cause us to react, sometimes that reaction is totally off base (trust me, I know) but Gods grace is enough. We should however learn from these experiences. Our goal is to love despite, not love because. Choose today to live life as Christ did, humbly and lovingly. It will add years to your life and you'll store up treasures in heaven. I would imagine the Lord will surprise you with blessings along the way. God bless.

It's Not About Perfect

God doesn't expect us to be perfect, what He expects is us to work on who we are in Him. Besides, Jesus was the only perfect human being. You be the best you God has made you to be. Leave the perfect to Him. You focus on loving Him, listening to Him, trusting Him, being corrected by Him, and all the other wonderful benefits of being His child - you do that, and all things will work together for the good of those that love God. God Bless.

A Simple Prayer can Change Your Life

A simple prayer can change your life... God, I realize that I have done wrong by not listening to what you want me to do. I have sinned against You. I know that You sent your Son Jesus Christ to take upon Himself all my sins and that through Him, I can be made right with You. I believe He is alive and that if I ask for forgiveness, I can receive it and become a child of God. Please forgive me Lord, I accept Your Son as my Savior. Thank you for setting me free! In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Faithful in the Little Things

To be our best in the big things God has for us, we must be faithful in the little things Luke 16:10. Don't ever look down at cleaning bathrooms, or helping a friend in need when you're so very tired. Always look at opportunities to serve, especially the menial tasks as God's pop quiz. Keep in mind too that the little things include giving back that extra dollar a clerk may have given you by mistake, or telling something you did wrong a little differently so its not so bad (in our minds anyway). We have many choices to make in a day, with Holy Spirit's help we can make good ones. God bless.

Forgive and Move On

God has plenty of forgiveness for His blessed little ones (you and me) recognize your faults, repent, and move on. Know that the Lord is quick to forgive and slow to anger. Forgive others as He has forgiven you and remember to make room for the shortcomings of those around us. For as God is so wonderfully patient with us, so should we be patient with others. And finally, as He keeps no record of past wrongs, we too should hold no grudges, in that we show true love. God Bless.

The Best Path in Life

As children of God, born again into His family through Jesus Christ, we are given so many wonderful promises - here's one...
The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
I will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8 NLT). Isn't it awesome to know that God is looking out for us? Guiding us through life on the best possible path? Does it mean easy and without issues or full of wealth and fame? IDK, but I do know He will help make sure you stay on course to spend eternity with Him and not separated from Him. The fact is when we die we go to heaven or hell. If you want spend eternity with God and live the best possible life now and make this promise your own, make a decision today to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior (check my page for a simple prayer that can change your life) or make a decision to renew your commitment to Him. God bless.

Why Chose Any Other Way?

There is so much involved with being a Christian (a true child of the Living God), I am so grateful for His grace.
One of God's top priorities is that we as Christians are honest about who we are in Christ and live that out according to His standards, not the world's standards - "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31.
The enemy has fooled so many Christians into believing that things in the Kingdom should be handled this way or that, when God clearly says, No, handle it this way. Why do we continue to be such cowards when we are given so much power and authority to trump the evil schemes of the enemy? Eph. 6:11.
Child of God, remember, the only way is God's way, and if you're unclear of His ways - please read and study your Bible (Joshua 1:8 says, Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.) and be sure to connect with someone who has a right heart (not perfect) for the Lord. God bless.
